The Messengers
Runtime: 84 MinutesStudio: Sony Pictures
Director: Danny Pang, Oxide Pang
Writer(s): Mark Wheaton, Todd Farmer
Staring: Kristen Stewart, Dylan McDermott, Penelope Ann Miller, John Corbett
Description: Trying to start a new life for themselves, the Soloman family moves to a sunflower farm in a small town in North Dakota. Jess soon realizes that they are not alone on the farm. And here brother Ben is the only one who sees them. The worst part is no one believes here....
Gore/Violence: There is very little blood in this movie, and a little violence. Most of the blood is from accidents and crows attacking them.
Body Count: There is only one death, but it does't really show them dying.
Nudity & Sexuality: Nope.
Death Scenes: There is one person who might of died. He was pulled into the ground by the ghosts.
Acting/Storyline: Top notch acting all around in this movie. When a movie is put out by Sony, they are not going to have any back actors in it... The story-line was equally awesome! I loved it. It was kinda Grudge-ish in the way the ghosts were, but fit nicely into this story-line.
Final Rating: I thought this was a great movie! I loved the storying, and it is nice to finally see a decent horror movie being made. I've seen so many crap horror movies in recent months, I was starting to loose hope. But this one has rejuvenated my desire to watch horror movies.
