Description: At the age of ten, Sally Diamon and her younger brother Ruby witness the brutal murder of their parents. Alone in the world, Sally raises Ruby, haunted by the memories of her murdered parents, and an ever growing lust for revenge. Now, a young woman inspired by horror movies and comic books, Sally lives the life of a small town librian by day... and something completely different by night. When the sun goes down in Porterville, the hunt begins, with Chainsaw Sally acting as judge, jury, and bloody executioner, of those who are evil in her eyes.
Gore/Violence: This movie is filled to the brim with violence and plenty of senseless killings! The movie starts off slow with most deaths not showing much except blood, but as the movie progresses, so does the special effects.
Body Count: A pretty high body-count for any type of movie. Pretty much anyone who gets in Sally's way is eliminated in a creative way. :-)
Nudity & Sexuality: YES! We do have nudity. Not much, but I appreciate any chance they take to blatantly flaunt boobies!
Death Scenes: The death scenes in this movie range from basic blood flying onto the killer view, to a great death scene involving a tied up girl, a funnel, and a bottle of acid. Fun stuff. One of the better death scenes I have seen in a while.
Acting/Storyline: I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the quality of the acting in this independent movie. Most independent movies have such cheesy acting that I dread watching, but Shock-O-Rama cinema seems to be an independent film company with all the good qualities of a big screen movie company. The story-line wasn't the most original, but no one really needs a good reason to start killing, right?
Final Rating: I have to say that I enjoyed watching this movie. Seeing Sally wield a variety of tools to kill and torture her victims was a real treat. Even more so, was the appearance of 2 horror icons. Gunnar Hansen, who played Leatherface in the original Texas Cainsaw Massacre, also wielded a chainsaw in this movie as Sally's dad. (He was killing home invaders) . And Two Thousand Maniacs director, Herschell Gordon Lewis, made an appearance as a hardware store owner. I thought this was a pretty good movie, and suggest you watch this.
