Description: 300 years ago, a coven of persecuted witches swore a gruesome curse of vengeance upon any person who would dare harm its descendants. Three centuries later, a young woman named Margaret is brutally murdered, victim of her husband's cold-blooded plot to inherit her wealth. Howard could not possibly know that his wife was a direct relative of those witches, and the ages-old curse lying dormant for generations will manifest itself before his very eyes and those of Margaret's killers...in the form of a horrifying monstrosity risen from the grave...an Evil that will not be stopped until blood flows and flesh is torn asunder. (Taken from Shock-O-Rama)
Gore/Violence: There is a good amount of gore in the movie. Most of the blood and guts appears at the end of the movie when the zombie is killing everyone who took part in her death.
Body Count: The body count ends up being pretty high in the movie. Through most of the movie, the body count is low, but near the end the body count starts to rise considerably.
Nudity & Sexuality: Oh man, almost every scene has a tit in it or a sexual situation, which is great of course.
Death Scenes: There were nothing special about the death scene, we've seen them all before, broken neck, intestines ripped out, head blown off. Some of the death scenes were nice and bloody just not original.
Acting/Storyline: The core of the storyline has been done before but writer Justin Wingenfeld adds his own creativity and plot twists in the movie to make it original. The storyline is revealed through different point of views of each character that is involved and each time the story is told, a twist in the story is revealed. There are a lot of twists in the movie that will you keep you interested and the ending is very satisfying.
The acting in the movie was pretty good all around. I didn't really like the acting from Rodney Gray, I don't know why but it just didn't do it for me.
Final Rating: I thought the movie is differently worth picking up. The storyline is creative enough and the plot twists will keep you interested all the way through. The movie will be released on April 10, 2007, and you can pick it up here at Shock-O-Rama Cinema.
P.S. In this movie, the dead will come back to haunt you!!!
