Night of the Living Dead

1990 - Rated: R
Runtime: 88 Minutes

Studio: Sony Pictures

Director: Tom Savini

Writer(s): John A. Russo, George A. Romero

Staring: Patricia Tallman, Tony Todd, Tom Towles, McKee Anderson, William Butler

Description: A group of individuals seek shelter in a house in the country. They are trying to survive the night where the dead have returned to life, and are attacking the living.

Gore/Violence: There is not too much gore, but you do get to see people get shot, but not too much blood. Not too much violence either. Just when zombies are attacking, and when the hunters are shooting zombies hanging from a tree.

Body Count: A fair bit of people died in this movie, but not as many as the original. (In the original everyone in the house dies, in this one, Barbra survives)

Nudity & Sexuality: Pretty much the same as the original, we get to see a naked zombie butt.

Death Scenes: All right death scenes. Johnny's death pretty much looks like a dummy. It's nice they don't pull away from gunshots, but not too much blood.

Acting/Storyline: Great acting in this one. Everyone plays their part perfectly. I love this story line. Maybe even better then the original. I like that at least someone dies. And what happens at the end with Harry Cooper is great! (I'm not going to tell you what though, you have to find out for yourself! :-) )

Final Rating: This is a great movie. I like it almost as much as the original. I love the change in storyline, and the fact that Barbra doesn't scream through the whole movie.

BiGMaN gives this movie 4.5/5 severed heads!
