Description: The true face of terror is revealed in this supernatural thriller based on Frank Peretti's best-selling novel. Miracles are happening in the sleepy town of Antioch, and everyone is talking about the mysterious drifter with the incredible powers. But who is this charismatic stranger ? the true messiah, a false prophet or something far more sinister? The townspeople are soon divided, and when happenings at the stranger's revival tent take on a bizarre and frightening twist, it's up to an ex-minister to confront his own inner demons and unlock the shocking secret of THE VISITATION.
Gore/Violence: This movie is not really about gore, or violence. There is one scene where someone is kinda crucified, but not that impressive.
Body Count: Only one person dies in this movie from my memory.
Nudity & Sexuality: Nope. I'm sure I would remember if there was.
Death Scenes: I don't really want to give away the only death scene, but it's not that impressive, pretty much like the rest of the movie.
Acting/Storyline: The acting and storyline was interesting to an extent. The majority of the storyline was about religion. I was interested for a little bit, but that soon went away as I just wanted this movie to end! The acting was not all that bad, and even stars country singer Randy Travis.
Final Rating: I have been putting off watching this movie for about a year now (yes, a year). Now that I have finally reviewed this I finally know that my suspicions are correct. This movie is not all that great. When I first read the description, I thought it would be good, but I had a funny feeling about this movie. Not my cup of tea, but someone might like it.
