Description: Steve and Rachel move from New York to a small town. Steve runs a movie rental store and noticed the people in the town are obsessed with slasher flicks. One day someone accidentally returns a video of a real life murder. Can it be real, or is someone just playing a gag on the towns new residents. They will soon find out!
Gore/Violence: This movie has a lot of gore, but since it was shot back in the 80's don't expect real life looking gore. It's the classic horror movie gore we have all grown to love! The violence goes hand in hand. Howard and Eli sure do like torture.
Body Count: Not a huge body-count, but for the amount of people shown it could be considered high.
Nudity & Sexuality: WooHoo! I love movies that blatantly flaunt nudity. And this one is it. No Sex though....
Death Scenes: Some of the deaths didn't look like it was enough to kill them so quickly, but dismemberment, stabbing, and poisoning are all on the list of ways to die.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline in this movie was surprisingly interesting. As the movie goes on you get more and more into the story. It's a simple, yet entertaining. The acting is also pretty good. Usually when I get a independent horror movie I expect mediocre acting, but this one was really good.
Final Rating: I really enjoyed this independent movie. This is a great movie to get some friends together and watch. It comes out on April 10th on DVD and I suggest you pick it up. It even comes with Video Violence 2, which in my opinion is better then the original!!
