Description: A former Christian missionary who lost her faith after her family was tragically killed, and has since become a world-renowned expert in disproving religious phenomena. But when she investigates a small Louisiana town that is suffering from what appear to be the Biblical plagues, she realizes that science cannot explain what is happening and she must regain her faith to combat the dark forces threatening the community.
Gore/Violence: Not really a gory, or violent movie, but one boy who died looked kinda scary dead.
Body Count: Throughout the movie there was only one death, but at the end.... a lot.
Nudity & Sexuality: No nudity, but some sexuality with nothing shown.
Death Scenes: Not really any death scenes in this movie.
Acting/Storyline: The acting was superb, as with any picture from a big motion picture company. The story-line is very interesting, with a twist at the end which changes your view on everything in the movie.
Final Rating: This was a really good movie. It kept my attention throughout the movie with no problem at all. There was one point at the end where I started to think, "Oh crap, here comes another Wickerman ending", but I was wrong, thankfully. :-)
