Description: The Personal Concubine 2000 is a state of the art love doll that programs itself by watching x-rated movies. Steve is a lonely computer programmer who's been emotionally scarred by a series of bad relationships. After watching a late-night infomercial he is easily persuaded to purchase a PC-2000 in an effort to end his recent streak of loneliness. Steve quickly learns the PC-2000 is capable of learning more than just intimate acts and matters take a turn for the worse after the doll is accidentally exposed to an all-night horror movie marathon.
Gore/Violence: There is quite a bit of gore in this short film. Blood in guts. Very nice.
Body Count: There is not too many actors in this movie. Only one death, but since there is only about 3 actors + a doll the percentage is high.
Nudity & Sexuality: Boobies! Oh how I love the.
Death Scenes: The only death scene in the movie was actually a very good one. It wasn't a creative death scene, but what happened afterwards was pretty unique.
Acting/Storyline: I thought the acting was alright overall with some people acting over the top, but it seemed intentional. The storyline was pretty good and original.
Final Rating: I actually enjoyed this short film. Its nice to have a decent independent movie once and a while. Steel Web Studios seem to have a certain level of quality with there movies. They don't just put out crap. I enjoyed this, and recommend you pick it up and give it a shot. It's available on "Tales from the Carnal Morgue: Volume One", where you get 3 movies in one. (All pretty good).
