Description: Something ancient lurks in the surf off Sea Bright Beach. It swims silently, walks upright and breathes air. It's also very, very hungry... and not for seafood anymore. Tonya, Rodney and Rupert are out-of-towners joining a crowd of young people gathered on the beach for an all-weekend music festival. Even after several townspeople are torn apart and devoured by the humanoid creatures, the partygoers remain oblivious to the horror that has risen up from the sea. They dismiss local girl Tess (Erin Brown) as a weirdo and refuse to heed her cries and warnings that monsters roam the beach, hunting for human flesh... and that hundreds of buried egg sacks are ready to hatch at any moment.
Gore/Violence: A lot of gore in this movie. The sea monster loves to come out to feed on unsuspecting people on the beach.
Body Count: A pretty high body-count in this one. A lot of people throughout the movie fall victim to the creature. And a lot of creatures die as well.
Nudity & Sexuality: A little. It's not the main focus of the movie, but at least we got to see a little boobies. :-)
Death Scenes: Not too impressive death scenes. Basically there is some blood and they get dragged away. We do get to see the skeleton left over after the feeding of one girl. Pretty neat.
Acting/Storyline: The acting was over the top, but it seemed planned, so thats OK. The story-line wasn't the most original in the world, and seemed to lack something, but was half decent.
Final Rating: I thought this movie was pretty good. One of the better movies from Camp Motion Pictures I've seen recently. Erin Brown always seems to be in a lot of their good movies, so I'm always happy to see her in there. If your into independent horror movies, give this one a shot.
