Description: A mother takes her daughter to Silent Hill, an eerie ghost town, in hopes of finding a cure for her daughters illness. After the daughter (Sharon) gets lost, Rose (Her mother) searches for her along with a cop named Cybil. The only catch is the town is haunted, and there are creatures all around trying to get them.
Gore/Violence: WOW!! Some parts of this movie put Hellraiser to shame! There is a lot of gore and violence in some parts of this movie!
Body Count: One person dies, but a lot of ghosts die too.
Nudity & Sexuality: Nope.
Death Scenes: There are some cool death scenes in this movie that remind me of Hellraiser. There was one burning to death that didn't seem all that great, but the rest of the ripping apart, and heads bashed in were great!
Acting/Storyline: Some great acting in this movie. Especially by the young actress that played Sharon and Alessa (Jodelle Ferland). The storyline was pretty good as well, and an excellent transition from a videogame.
Final Rating: For the first part of the movie, I thought it was just all right, but as it got more and more towards the end I thought it was pretty good! There was one part near then end that seemed like the movie was ending, which pissed me off, but then it continued for another 1/2 hour, which tied up all the loose ends. Great movie!
