Exorcist II: Heretic

Director: John Boorman

Description: Four years after Regan's possession, she is starting to have very intense nightmares. It seems that the demon is still grasping for life in Regan's subconscious. With the help of a Vatican investigator and a hypnotic specialist, they will try to free Regan from the demon's grasp.
Gore/Violence: The only violence that occurred during the movie was me stabbing myself in my eyes.
Body Count: I think one person died in the movie, but the movie was sooooo damn boring that I dozed off.
Nudity & Sexuality: ummmm...NO!!
Death Scenes: Since I dozed off and the movie was a piece of crap, I'm going to say the death scene sucked just like the rest of the movie.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline might have looked good on paper, but it did not translate well to a feature film. This movie has nothing going for it. I was bored out of my mind and had to watch this movie in sections. The writers could have easily kept the movie similar to Exorcist and I would have been satisfied, I guess hind sight is 20/20.
Acting was the only thing that the movie had going for it.
Final Rating: There is absolutely no reason to pick this movie up. Even if you are a big Exorcist fan (like myself), do yourself a favour and run when you see this movie. I can't believe that after the perfection of the Exorcist the sequel got this kind of treatment. A big disappointment!!!
