Description: Everyone thought it was safe. Everyone started trusting cops again. Everyone one is dead wrong. Cordell is back and is after the people who mutilated him in prison. Everyone better get the hell out of the way cause Cordell will not stop until he has finished what he started.

Gore/Violence: Just like the original, the movie is violent. Shootings, stabbings, blood everywhere. Cordell goes on a rampage.

Body Count: The body count is very high in this one. Again, Cordell goes on a rampage in the police station, killing everyone with a badge and without one.

Nudity & Sexuality: No nudity in this one!!!

Death Scenes: The death scenes are not original, they are mostly like the first movie. There are a lot of shootings, some stabbings, some people burnt alive. All of the deaths were done a million times before.

Acting/Storyline: The story line was alright, its just a continuation of the original movie. In the sequel, Cordell teams up with a killer who murders strippers, and is out to get revenge on the people who mutilated him in prison. For some reason, I found this movie more entertaining than the original. It seemed to be more interesting and have a lighter mood than the original.

The acting was better than the original. The dialog seemed to flow more fluidly than the first Maniac Cop.

Final Rating: This movie is easily the best of the series. There is more of a lighter mood and the movie is way more entertaining than the original movie. I recommend taking some time an checking out this movie, I enjoyed this one very much.
