Description: A loving Family has just realized that their house is haunted. At first, the family was having fun with the new experience but quickly things changed. One night while the family was asleep, a portal opened up and took the daughter. Now the family is willing to do anything and believe in anything to get their daughter back.
Gore/Violence: There is not really any gore in this movie. There is one scene where the one of the guys starts peeling off his face to reveal a skull underneath, thats is the only gore you will find in this movie.
Body Count: Absolutely no one dies in this movie.
Nudity & Sexuality: Absolutely no nudity in this movie.
Death Scenes: No one dies so there are no death scenes to talk about.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline is your classic haunted house storyline. The storyline is good and well written, its just too light of a mood. The storyline could have been a lot darker than it is. When I think of Poltergeist, I would think of a ghost terrorizing a family. Unfortunately, I don't get this terrorizing feeling throughout the movie, even though the family is missing their daughter.
The acting is superb in the movie. The family really show their despair throughout the movie with every passing day that their daughter is gone. Like I said above, the movie has such a light mood to it, that you are not really affected by the despair the family is going through.
Final Rating: The movie is good overall, I just wished that the movie had a darker storyline to it. The movie is well written, well directed, and well acted. The movie does a great job of keeping you entertained throughout the movie. This movie is definitely not hardcore horror, but still a good movie.
