Description: After the horrifying experience in the first house, the Freeling family decide to move and start a band new life in a new house. Unfortunately, Kane (the poltergeist) will not rest until Carol Anne is with him and it doesn't take him to find where the family is staying. Now, the family must once again square off with Kane to save Carol Anne.
Gore/Violence: Just like the original movie, this movie has no gore in it whatsoever. There is a scene with a giant worm climbing out of the guys mouth, but I didn't find it gory.
Body Count: No one dies in the movie. Unfortunately, everyone ends up safe and sound.
Nudity & Sexuality: Zero!!!
Death Scenes: None died in the movie, so there are no death scenes to talk about.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline is pretty much the exact same as the other one. Kane is looking for Carol Anne to lead him into the light, and the Family will do anything to stop him. If you liked the original, you will probably like the sequel. One major problem with the movie is the ending, it was very disappointed.
The acting was alright, nothing special about it. One person does stand out and that would be Julian Beck, who played Kane. Adding Kane to the movie was a smart move, Julian added a creepy feeling to the movie every time he appeared on screen.
Final Rating: The movie is pretty much the exact same as the original. There are a couple differences between the sequel and the original which are the addition of Kane and the ending. The addition of Kane (which was only good because of Julian Beck) was a great idea. Julian had a way of making Kane look like a nice old ghost, but you get the vibe that something isn't right. On the other side of the coin, the ending of the movie was very disappointing. If you liked the original, there is a good chance you will like the sequel, just ignore the ending.
