Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter

2001 - Rated: Unrated
Runtime: 88 Minutes

Studio: Eclectic DVD Dist

Director: Lee Demarbre

Writer(s): Ian Driscoll

Staring: Phil Caracas, Murielle Varhelyi, Maria Moulton, Ian Driscoll, Josh Grace, Tim Devries

Description: Jesus is back!!!! This time there is no time for preaching, only ass kicking. Day walking vampires are feeding on lesbians, and our savior Jesus Christ isn't going to stand back and watch it happen. Armed with weapons and prayer, Jesus is about to throw it down against legions of vampires, hopefully our savior has to power to save humanity

Gore/Violence: The movie is pretty gory. A vampire uses intestines as num-chucks, kidney's are ripped out, and blood squirting everywhere. The only problem with that is it looks really cheesy, so it doesn't have the same affect as watching a movie like Saw or Hostel.

Body Count: The body count is high in this movie. Jesus Christ kicks a lot of vampire ass in this movie. He also has a side kick that rips some heads off here and there.

Nudity & Sexuality: There is some nudity in the movie, mixed with a lot of ass kicking.

Death Scenes: Death scenes are sort cheesy but entertaining. One scene, Jesus is on stage singing to the crowd, he notices some vampires and impales them with drum sticks. The whole movie is like this, very entertaining death scenes, but just as cheesy.

Acting/Storyline: Storyline is awesome. Jesus is back to hunt vampires who prey on lesbians. I don't see one thing bad about that statement. Obviously the story line will be offensive to some people so be careful who you recommend this movie too. The movie doesn't take itself seriously, and neither should you.

The acting is purposely over done. The movie pays homage to the 1970's kung-fu movies, so the audio is a little off sync, but everything just adds to the overall experience of the movie.

Final Rating: This movie is a great movie to watch with friends. You will laugh all the way through, all the kung-fu fighting, all the hilarious one liners makes this movie a total package. Like I said above, this movie may offend some people so be careful who you watch it with or recommend it too.

Shustaines gives this movie 4/5 severed heads!
