Description: Father Damien Karras survived his fall that night from Regan's room. The problem is Father Karras is not Father Karras, he is being possessed by a serial killer. The serial killer is back to finish his work that he started, and no one is going to stop him.
Gore/Violence: I didn't find movie gory at all.
Body Count: The body count is decent in the movie. About 4 people died in the movie.
Nudity & Sexuality: Boobies are absent in this movie.
Death Scenes: Like I said above, all the death scenes were not shown. Some of the bodies were shown after the death occurred, except for one which happened at the end of the movie.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline continues from the first one and it is written/directed by William Peter Blatty . The story is about a demon (who used to be a serial killer), who is in control of Father Karras' body. The setting takes place in a mental hospital, and the demon is able to possess people in coma's to carry on his murdering spree.
This is a very well written movie. I could not stop watching this movie, this movie has many memorable scenes and the conversations between Lt. Kinderman and the demon kept me hooked.
The level of acting was not on par with the storyline, but it definitely does the job.
Final Rating: Exorcist III brings the series back up to where it started. The movie is well written and directed. Its unfortunate that Exorcist II exists because Exorcist III would have been a great sequel to The Exorcist.
