Description: When Karen's dying grandmother makes a final requests for her to clean out the family estate, she was totally clueless of what she would find. While living in the house, Karen discovers that the house is filled with secrets that our now haunting her dreams and her reality.
Gore/Violence: Very little gore in this one. There is some blood, and a chicken gets its head cut off, but its not really shown.
Body Count: Hmmm, this one is hard to judge because 2 people actually died in the movie, but if you believe the ending then no one died in the movie.
Nudity & Sexuality: None at all, too bad though.
Death Scenes: Well, the death scenes are not really creative. Once person falls off a balcony onto the ground below, and the other person gets stabbed with a piece of glass.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline did not make any sense. All the terrifying events happen when she is dreaming, but then later on in the story the events start happening when she is awake. This tells me that she is totally aware of what is going on, so when the twist ending is revealed about her sister (who has been visting her for the last few days) doesnt make any sense at all. Its too bad that the storyline didn't make any sense cause the movie had a good look to it and some scary scenes in it.
The acting was good, Gina Philips (from Jeepers Creepers) does a great job in the movie, and so does Tom Sizemore who plays a very sensitive guy who ends up being a very violent character.
Final Rating: I would love to give this movie a recommendation but the storyline doesn't make any sense at all and the ending leaves you with even more questions. Its unfortuante because this movie had potential to be a really good movie, it had good acting, and it had a spooky feel to it, but I'm going to have to say pass on this one.
