Description: Two newly-weds are subjected to nuclear testing while locked in a bomb shelter. Later on, they have a child named Sam, who seems a little odd. Sam's parents show no side effects to the nuclear testing but Sam has developed a side effect that allows him to burst into flames at a moments notice.
Gore/Violence: There is a some blood in the movie, but most of the movie consists of charred bodies.
Body Count: A decent body count in this movie, there are about 6 death scenes in the movie.
Nudity & Sexuality: Nope, no nudity in this movie.
Death Scenes: The death scenes are all the same. Everyone catches on fire and burns to death, nothing else.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline was interesting and creative but the plot holes in the storyline drops the quality of the storyline down. For example, at one point during the movie, Sam bursts into flames right beside another person and the other person does not even get burned. Also, the ending is really bad and will leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. Its too bad the the storyline is filled with plot holes because this movie could have been a lot better than it is.
The acting is over top, especially by Brad Dourif, he spends most of the movie yelling and bursting into flames.
Final Rating: The movie is not worth watching. Its too bad because the movie had potential to be good if the storyline was written with some common sense. There are too many plot holes to over look and the over the top acting doesn't help things. Don't even bother renting this movie, its not worth it.
