Description: On Halloween night, a group of teenagers setup traps in an abandoned hospital to scare their friends. When they enter the hospital everything seems normal, but soon everything changes. Weird things start happening in the hospital, the elevator only goes to the third floor and all the doors are locked. The teenagers uncover a ghost who is hell bent on being the only person who leaves the hospital alive.
Gore/Violence: There are some gory scenes the movie. There is a skinless dog covered in all this sticky crap that comes back to life (which was cool). Also, every time a possessed person gets shot, he/she explodes covering the place with blood and body parts.
Body Count: Body count is kind of low in this one. About 4 people died in the movie, plus a dog gets skinned alive (not actually shown in the movie).
Nudity & Sexuality: Nope, no boobies in this one.
Death Scenes: The death scenes are not creative at all. Every one gets shot throughout the movie. At first, when the possessed person blew up leaving blood all over the place, I thought it was kind of cool, but it lost its coolness when it was the only way to kill them.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline was the same "run of the mill" ghost story, but it had some twists in it. I like the idea of the ghost possessing people and deteriorating their bodies until their skin started to turn to mush. Also, the movie is filled with "jump scares" which kind of startles you for a moment, but it doesn't actually scare you. The jump scares don't really bother me too much, its kind of a thing that all horror movies have nowadays.
The acting was good from some actors/actresses but bad from other actors/actresses. I thought Rachel Melvin stood out from the rest of the group in the acting department, but the bad actors/actresses didn't take away from the movie.
Final Rating: I really enjoyed this movie a lot. I was very surprised at how entertaining it was, and how good the movie overall was. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of horror movies, and I honestly believe most people would enjoy it. Some people might be annoyed from all the "jump scares" in the movie but personally I'm never bothered by those tactics.
