Description: Mattie's Boyfriend Josh finds a new wireless technology that communicates on a frequency that has never been seen before. He soon finds out that the other beings are actually using this frequency to gain access into our world and steal the lives away from anyone who is infected. With the world Dependant on WIFI, these beings are now taking over the world and there is no way to stop them.
Gore/Violence: There is no gore in this movie and there is really no violence in this movie either. The movie is rated PG-13 so you can't really expect too much for this category.
Body Count: The body count wasn't really that high in the movie, the movie had a about 4 deaths that were shown but the infection was a world wide problem so millions of people actually died in the movie.
Nudity & Sexuality: Zero!!!!
Death Scenes: Only one death scene is worth mentioning in the movie. The scene where Stone gets sucked into the wall and his face was all messed up was pretty cool. Other than that one scene the deaths were ordinary.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline was original and creative. The way it was shot reminded me of The Ring and The Grudge. Pulse is based on the Japanese movie so I can see why there are similarities to The Ring and The Grudge. I really thought this movie had potential to be a freaky movie, and it started out really good. The problem is that it kind of got stupid and really dragged on at the end. This movie did have some really freaky scenes in it but the movie as a whole wasn't that good.
The acting was good from everyone in the movie. No complaints in this department.
Final Rating: When I saw the previews for this movie I really thought that this could be a good movie. The Pg-13 rating did turn me off a little bit, but The Ring had the same rating and it turned out to be a good freaky movie. This movie did have a creative storyline and some really freaky scenes in it but it couldn't hold my attention throughout the whole movie. This movie is a definitely a pass for the theater, but its worth a rent when it hits the shelves on DVD.
