The Grudge 2

Description: A group of people enter the haunted house and is infected with the curse. They are now being followed by the Toshio, and are scared for their lives. Also, Karen's sister arrives in Tokyo to visit Karen in the hospital. Once there, she starts to investigate her sister's illness and is led to the house. Karen's sister is now working to solve the mystery that surrounds the cursed house.
Gore/Violence: Now, gore at all in this movie. There is not even that much blood in the movie.
Body Count: The body count is not that high in the movie. The movie is more of a horror/thriller type movie, so frequent slaughtering of people doesn't happen in this movie.
Nudity & Sexuality: Unfortunately, there are no boobies in this movie, not even a silhouette of boobies.
Death Scenes: The death scenes blew in the movie. The only good one in the movie was when Karen fell from the hospital. The reason that scene is good is because they show Karen's sister and the reporter talking in the parking lot and then splat, it was sort of predictable but still impressive.
Acting/Storyline: The storyline picks up right where the second movie left off. Karen is in the hospital feeling the effects of the house. Her sister flies down to Tokyo to visit her and the storyline starts to revolve around her. The problem with the movie is that it jumps around too much. The movie jumps between people, between countries, between the beginning, middle and end. It is a little bit hard to keep track of whats going on in the movie, it might have been better if the movie was more linear.
Also, the movie just didn't seem that creepy anymore. The first movie had some creepy scenes but this one lost its touch. I didn't really feel frightened while watching this movie, it felt like just another movie, nothing special.
The acting in the movie is great. Everyone in the movie does an amazing job at their parts, except for this one Japanese girl, she really annoyed me.
Final Rating: The movie is not as good as the first one, and the first one is average at best. The movie is not worth wasting your time going to the movies for, just wait until it comes out on dvd or when it airs on tv.
