Feast

2005 - Rated: R
Runtime: 95 Minutes

Studio: Weinstein Company

Director: John Gulager

Writer(s): Marcus Dunstan, Patrick Melton

Staring: Duane Whitaker, Balthazar Getty, Chauntae Davies, Diane Goldner, Josh Zuckerman

Description: A group of people get locked inside of a bar. No one knows what is outside or what is chasing them. The creatures are looking for revenge on the person who has killed their baby and they will not give up. The group of people must stick together if they are going to survive the night.

Gore/Violence: Wow, there is gore everywhere in this movie. Blood is splattered all over the walls, heads are ripped off, legs are torn off, pretty much every scene has blood squirting out of something.

Body Count: The body count is pretty high in the movie. Most of the people in the movie end up being slaughtered.

Nudity & Sexuality: No nudity in here, there is some cleavage and a bra shot but no floppy flesh bouncing around.

Death Scenes: The death scenes were not that creative, but they happening very quickly. With a blink of an eye, someone's head gets ripped off, so keep your eye's open. Also, a kid dies in the movie, which is a little odd cause most of the movies never really show a kid getting slaughtered.

Acting/Storyline: The storyline in the movie was very interesting, I really enjoy monster type movies so this one was right up my alley. The movie moves along quick and you will be on the edge of your seat for the whole movie. The deaths come quick, one moment they're talking, then the next moment a guy gets slaughtered. The movie keeps you on your toes and keeps you guessing when a death is going to occur. Lastly, I really like the creative way the writers introduced the characters who arrive at the bar, it quickly gives you a run down on the character so there is more time for killing.

The acting in the movie is great except for Henry Rollins. His character really annoyed me every time he opened his mouth, but he did have a pretty good death scene.

Final Rating: This movie has all the makings of a good horror movie, blood, gore and more blood. Feast is definitely worth your time and money spent on this one.
